During the heat wave last month I spent a fair amount of time knitting blankets. Working on them was kind of like taking a sauna. The weather is milder now, and all the blankets are done.

It's a nice carry-along-project since it's made of small, manageable squares. I like this method of working. The finishing is a little tedious but not so bad since there are only 16 squares. Next time I make one I will weave in the ends as I go, then all the finishing that has to be done is seaming, and knitting the border.
The next three blankets are fast knits. The pattern is basically the Fluffiest Baby Blanket from
Greetings from Knit Cafe. I went through my stash and found lots of odd balls of GGH Espirit, Trendsetter Zucca and Austermann Piuma. A friend of mine is having twins. eek!
I was on a roll and decided to knit a fluffy blanket for us. I didn't realize how well it would match our living room.
