I know I keep going on about these sketches, but this is one of my favorites yet. I am definitely going to ask M to get me a Kat Coyle original for Christmas. They are just lovely.

For bgoz: farm, my imagination. I thought to show what my internal farm might look like and came up with a red wash sky, a red bird announcing the day, rolling out from the sky and sun; the red a sign of force and vitality. The peeks of yellow shining glimpse to the bright and sunny side of me. The figures down in the ground represent my family or my current projects and focus (either one is true). Roots taking hold in a bubble of peace, a speckled vegetable attached to a blue flower: that must be my son. Abstract traces of my family and the farm of individuality we have created.

I really love this! There are so many interesting parts and patrterns in it, I kept looking and looking finding it hard to look away as there was always something new in it to discover. Colours are fantastic too!
