Kusha Kusha knitted

It's hard to resist playing with this scarf. The fabric is so fun to pull and pinch. My hands are obsessed with stretching the end part made of stainless steel/silk; I hope it's strong enough to stand it. I've decided to go ahead and complete the pattern’s directions and felt the scarf, which just means more play time for me.

Looks like you decided to knit it double stranded throughout. I love it! A friend finished one recently - I loved shaping it too. This may be my next project. Will you felt it?

This looks so wispy and elegant and I love the color. Be interested to see it felted. I also really like your new banner....is that a photo you took?

This is lovely - I adore Habu. Pushing the fiber envelope.

How fun! I think it looks great like that, but I'm also really interested in seeing what happens to the scarf once it's felted.

I love everything about your Kusha! I love the photo too -- it really shows off how I envisioned the silk-wrapped stainless steel being sculptural.

YAY!

I saw this on Flickr and had to come over to tell you how beautiful I think it is. I'm knitting mine with navy and grey.
