more projects for knitting class


Hello, meet two friendly snakes, Scarlet and Grellow, these garter stitch fellows are another project idea for my kids learn to knit class to be held at the Wisdom Art Club this fall!


And, ta da, the sporty wristband!

Are you knitting them in the round? How great they are! And you could put rattles in them and they'd be RATTLE SNAKES!!!

Scarlet is the safe kind:
Red to yellow,
Kill a fellow,
Red to black,
Venom lack.

We once found the dangerous kind, fortunately for us it was dead. Very beautiful though.We wanted to keep it and stored it in the glove box of our rental car. Who ever opened it next probably died of fright.

Found your snakes via Gudrun's blog. Will you have the pattern available sometime? Have another boy here who'd love a knitted snake... (I almost typed ssssnake but that would be sssssilly.... ;-)
