knit bracelets
An easy learn to knit project for teaching the purl stitch are these knit bangle bracelets, worked in two colors in reverse stockinet stitch.

Those look like a great project for all ages! Good luck with the class.....my kids had their first knitting lesson at school the other day (all the kids get lessons in the schools in Shetland) and Sage is going to make a snake to befriend the one I made for him!

of course i love bangles so these are great. did you see vogue knitting featured knitted bangles too! i am inspired to create some of my own. felix liking school better? hope so.
