knit bracelets

An easy learn to knit project for teaching the purl stitch are these knit bangle bracelets, worked in two colors in reverse stockinet stitch.

Learn to knit class starts this Friday at the Wisdom Arts Club. Details here!

Edited to add, I've made the pattern available as a free download on ravelry. Enjoy!

Those look like a great project for all ages! Good luck with the class.....my kids had their first knitting lesson at school the other day (all the kids get lessons in the schools in Shetland) and Sage is going to make a snake to befriend the one I made for him!

Mary-Heather: we miss you too. Pinkberry will never be the same.

Thank you handknit168 (I wore the largest one as an armband).

Knitsonya: shaka back to ya!

Gudrun: I'm honored that Sage is going to make a snake! in Shetland even!

poethead: Yes! These are for the kids group. Hm, somehow, I forgot to mention that part. oops!

What a terrific idea! I will pass that on to my girlfriend who teaches grade 2. It would be a cool project for her class.
